About me

Tavleen Arora

(M.C.P., R.C.C.)

Clinical Counsellor Associate

You've been holding it together for a long time. Maybe too long. Something in your relationships, or deep within yourself, is asking for more than willpower and self-reflection can give it.

I'm Tavleen and I built my practice around exactly this kind of work. Relational, honest, and grounded in the belief that understanding yourself more deeply changes everything.

Who I Work Best With

If you're reading this, you're probably someone who thinks deeply about yourself and your relationships. You're not looking for someone to just nod along. You want real insight, honest conversation, and tools that actually work outside the therapy room.

You might be navigating a relationship that feels stuck or painful, experiencing emotional dysregulation, or realizing that old patterns keep showing up no matter how hard you try to change them. Maybe you're in a season of transition and you're not quite sure who you are in it anymore. Or maybe you carry the weight of cultural expectations and you've never quite had a space to unpack that.

What my clients have in common isn't a diagnosis. It's a readiness. They're done just coping. They want to understand themselves more deeply, build boundaries that feel natural, and show up differently in their relationships and in their own lives. If this sounds like you, book a complimentary consultation. I’d love to connect!

What it’s like to Work with Me

Therapy with me is intentional, warm, and built around you. I create a space where you feel genuinely understood, but also gently challenged to look at what's keeping you stuck. I'm not here to just reflect back what you say. I'm here to help you actually move. My style is direct and grounded, with real warmth and the occasional moment of humor, because healing doesn't have to feel heavy every single session.

We'll work with both the emotional and the practical. That means we go deep enough to understand the root of what's happening, and we build real tools you can use outside this room.

The human behind the therapist

Beyond the therapy chair, I'm a daughter of a big and beautiful Indian family. It's where I’ve learned about the intricacies of relationships. Presence, patience, deep listening, and loving people through their complexity. I carry these lessons both into my personal life and the therapy room.

I'm also a wife, a nature-lover, and someone who believes the best conversations happen when people can be fully present and themselves. Oceans ground me, forests reset me, and I will never turn down spontaneous laughter.

My Experience & Training
