No—you remain in control throughout the entire hypnotherapy process. You’ll hear everything the therapist says and can stop at any time. Hypnotherapy is about collaboration, not control, and your Gather & Ground therapist will guide you gently and respectfully.

Is hypnotherapy covered by insurance in BC?

Coverage for hypnotherapy depends on your extended health plan. Some plans cover it when provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or another recognized professional. We provide official receipts, and you can check with your insurer to confirm your eligibility for reimbursement. At this time, our hypnotherapist is not an RCC however is working towards her designation. Coverage will be possible in the near future.
