Growth often begins in the moments we feel most uncertain. I aim to create a space where your emotions can be met with compassion, your story can be understood with curiosity, and your healing can unfold in its own time. Taking the first step towards seeking help is commendable, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Who I Work Best With
Many clients seek therapy with me to deepen self-understanding, strengthen their relationship with themselves, and build healthier, more secure connections with others. I work best with those who are curious, ready for change, and value a compassionate, practical approach to growth.
I am deeply committed to supporting individuals like you on your journey to personal growth and self-discovery. My passion for counselling stems from a profound belief in the power of compassionate support and the creation of a safe, nurturing environment for clients. Although you cannot avoid all of life’s challenges that may arise, it is my belief that you can avoid being hopeless and helpless within those experiences with the right tools and exploration.

What it’s like to Work with Me
At the heart of my practice is a client-centred approach, where I honour each individual's unique wisdom and autonomy. Through tailored techniques and methodologies, I will empower you to take ownership of your life, helping you uncover your innate strengths and values along the way.
I believe there is a delicate balance between gently tending to the heart and offering directional support
At times I will lead you, and other times I will walk alongside you. I take pride in knowing when to provide soft validation and empathetic listening or psychoeducation and emotional regulation tools. The feeling of safety does not only come from the therapeutic space, but from being guided on how to move through concepts that may feel complicated in a step by step manner to create small achievable goals.

The human behind the therapist
When I’m not in the therapy space, you can often find me out in nature with my camera in hand, hiking Vancouver Island’s trails, and spending time with my close circle of friends. At home, I share my life with my beloved furbaby family, who never fail to make me smile.
My path to becoming a therapist grew naturally out of my relationships with others — I’ve always felt a deep draw to supporting people, and others often found comfort in opening up to me. Over time, I recognized this as more than coincidence; it was a calling.

My Experience & Training
I have earned a masters degree in Counselling Psychology, along with a bachelors degree in Child and Youth Care. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Community, Child, and Family Studies.
My ongoing professional training includes EMDR Therapy, Peter Levine’s Trauma & Memory Course (Somatic Experiencing® skills), and a Somatic Therapy for Complex Trauma Certification, where I’ve deepened my understanding of body-based, polyvagal, and neurobiological approaches to healing.
