Loss taught me that healing is not about forgetting the past and personal growth is not about erasing the hard parts of life. It’s about learning to live with both tenderness and resilience while finding ways to carry the heaviness with grace. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to therapy, creating space for you to explore both the ache of what’s been lost and the quiet hope of what’s still possible.

Who I Work Best With
In my work with both individuals and couples, I have honed into the importance of developing a strong container of safety to explore the more intricate and challenging aspects of life. My extensive experience in bereavement allows me to strongly support individuals going through grief and loss, such as the passing of a loved one, the loss of an unborn child, or the loss of a relationship. I also work well with individuals who seek parental support, experience anxiety, are struggling with fertility issues, birth trauma, or who are wanting a deeper understanding of their intimate relationships.
Many clients come to me to focus on improving their romantic relationships. My advanced training in attachment work and couples counselling has created a strong foundation in supporting both individuals and couples in their personal growth.

What it’s like to Work with Me
My therapy style is about developing a solid and trusting relationship where we can have dynamic and compassionate therapeutic conversations. Our clinical work will be infused with practical tools and just the right dose of humour.
I offer counselling sessions that are dynamic and collaborative, where therapeutic conversations are fueled by compassionate curiosity in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. I believe in taking a holistic stance to your care that feels both relational and pragmatic. My greatest hope is to empower you with transferable skills to live a fulfilling life that is congruent with your values!

The human behind the therapist
My personal journey with counselling began in my adolescence after difficult losses placed me on the path of deeply getting to know myself and healing from the inside out. My experience with a trusted and skillful clinician highlighted the beautiful change that unfolds within therapy and inspired me to become the therapist I am today.
Additionally, I have never encountered a pun that I did not like, and I am a big fan of international films, swimming in lakes, hiking, and baking treats to share with friends and family!

My Experience & Training
I have completed a bachelors and masters degree in social work to obtain the formal designation of a registered social worker. In addition to my graduate level education, I am certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care. Further training has also been completed in internal family systems therapy, mindfulness counselling strategies, and adult attachment therapy.
