the team

Hi, I’m Lily Shalev (she/her)!

As a counsellor, my primary goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your authentic self, make sense of your story, and connect with your inner strengths. I believe healing begins when we can voice our experiences, and I see therapy as a collaborative journey in which we co-author your personal narrative, uncovering talents and resilience that may have been hidden.

Throughout over a decade of clinical experience working with clients I have developed an approach that is rooted in dynamic psychotherapy and attachment-based theories, while also integrating person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused techniques. Whether you're navigating life transitions, processing trauma, or striving for healthier boundaries, I'm here to support you. I work with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, queer identity, parenting (including queer parenting), and relationship dynamics.

What sets my practice apart is a combination of curiosity, creativity, and a non-judgmental stance, along with a deep appreciation for connection and humor. I believe in creating a space where clients feel safe to be curious about themselves, take risks, and begin accepting all parts of who they are. My style is direct yet warm and patient, always adapting to each client's pace and needs. I see people as inherently capable of growth and evolution, and it’s my role to provide the support and encouragement needed to reach their desired destination.

I feel honored to walk alongside my clients on their journeys, offering a compassionate and empowering space for personal transformation.
