How do we support ADHD?

Although many diagnoses are made at a young age, many adults are facing the reality that they may have answers to their disorganized brain while learning about common ADHD symptoms. Interestingly, ADHD can be confused with childhood trauma! This is why working with a therapist can be helpful to explore all avenues of your presenting challenges, to ensure we are giving you a comprehensive mental overview.

Knowledge is power and self-awareness is the first step to change! In working with a counsellor you will learn how to channel your diagnosis into a superpower. You will learn impulse control skills, communication skills, self-regulation, and the ability to be in the present moment. Executive functioning management and application is an important part of mastering your ADHD. With this, you will learn how to live an uninterrupted and empowered life with ADHD by your side.
